When traveling I try to pick hotels with workout rooms, sometimes a hotel is connected to a health club, sometimes there is a well-equipped workout room and sometimes there's only minimal equipment.
If you know what to do you don't need much equipment. This video demonstrates a quick dumbbell circuit I did when working in Cancun (yes, working in Cancun).
