We can use drugs which cause an increase in erection and we can delay the ejaculation where the erection can be maintained or the hormones which can cause the increase in the potential for erection. ED should be evaluated before we therapeutically treat it. First we see if there is any hormonal imbalance. Next of there is any decrease in the blood supply to the penis ,which is causing the defect in the erection or psychological which is causing a lot of patients to come with ED or surroundings which the makes the patient to have ED in an unwanted environment where he does not have erection. So the cause of this should be identified and most of this can be treated with medicines except where there is a defect in the blood supply and there is a defect in the anterior venous occlusion , then surgical line of treatment is thought or most of it can be treated medically.
