The Halton Catholic District School Board is holding a Special Meeting on Mon. April 26. On the agenda is a motion to allow the raising of Pride flags outside school buildings and safe space posters inside classrooms during Pride Month in June.

Leading up to this meeting, there has been an explosion of support to raise the flag through social media. This includes support from local politicians, unions and even support from Canadian celebrity Dan Levy and his family.
