Watch three artists with hearing loss perform a special version of Spanish musician Mayor Tom’s “Tu Barrera del Sonido” at the Sound Sensation music festival. Mayor Tom wrote the song, which means “your sound barrier” for his deaf daughter. Ludmila from Argentina is on vocals, Fabio from Spain is on the piano, and Paulina from Colombia dances.

We’re celebrating the incredible talents of our hearing implant recipients with Sound Sensation. This free, virtual music festival brings together implant users from around the world to show that, even with hearing loss, you can enjoy music to the fullest.
Streaming online from 6 October, the packed schedule includes mini concerts, insightful shows, and webinars for hearing professionals. And to finish it all off, the Grand Finale event showcases some of our best-performing musicians, who will be joined on stage by internationally renowned stars.
