This is a general aim training drill video for RoCo
in this YT video there are multiple drills I perform in the Rogue Company Shooting Range seperate from the Kovaaks routine I do daily. It is important to do aim training in game separate from just aimtrainer-software because it helps you with mechanics, abilities and aim style with in-game movement.
I might edit this twitlonger/YT Description + Update as in post it again with a more detailed guide, but this is the general one since the shooting range was released 2 days ago.
TIMESTAMPED VIDEO DRILLS IN ORDER:
So at the beginning of this video I am just basically showing off the fact that the shooting range in RC has grids for tracking distance/movement. A lot can be done with these. Memorize the distance per unit and then you can train your muscle memory (guide on this later) to remember every single adjustment you ever have to make when aiming and it will start to become more natural. These grids also allow you to adjust sens to perfection but I will cover that in a different video as well.
1st training drill is the one I use the most and it is flicking to targets on the left side of range, relative to where they are standing verse where you are standing. It is good to change positions every 30 seconds to a minute, and just practice the distance it takes for you to turn to each target, and even practicing dodgerolls and movement while aiming
2nd Drill - zipline tracking. This isn't just important for the zipline movement but practicing tracking and moving your mouse to keep up with a target overall.
it gives your screen movement and you can practice staying locked onto the enemies heads. This will increase your tracking overall + allow you to well shoot better while on zips.
Another thing I do in this drill as shown is also flick shots while moving, and you can try all sorts of weird angles and just utilize the movement range you think is done in game
and replicate it in the range.
3rd Drill - moving target training. I first do an important drill taught by an aim video I saw by j00mla, an ow player I saw years ago, and it is tracking + keeping your crosshair on a moving target, it is not important to shoot at it what you are doing here is making sure you at anytime you click? it will be a head shot and it trains your tracking aim to be able to lock onto a target while its moving in game. It helps overall prediction of movement so you know where to put crosshair. Flick-shotting on moving targets is a different exercise entirely but I also show this off.. sorry my aim sucks btw this is after a 20 hour session and I went to sleep after this.
4th Drill - This one I haven't done as much but it's important you basically have the option on right side of training range with many distances to practice on an elevated target
you can also practice elevated target versus a moving target, flick shots tracking etc.
I hope these basic drill descriptions help I see a lot of people wanting to improve and don't have set practice drills and I hope this video can educate , good luck in your
journey!
