Even if you are not a fan of ginger, try this recipe once you will definitely fall in love with it 😊
Use Sesame seeds oil for Chutney it takes the taste of recipe to next level
𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 📝📝
💫Ginger - 100gms
💫 Garlic pods - 10 to 12
💫 Jaggery - 50gms
💫 Dried Red Chillies ( Soaked in Hot water) - 12
💫 Tamarind - small lemon sized
💫 Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tbsp
💫 Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Tbsp
💫 Curry leaves - 2 Sprigs
💫 Chana Dal - 1 Tbsp
💫 Sesame Oil - 2-3 Tbsp
💫 Salt as required
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬
♦️Grind Ginger, garlic,jaggery,red chillies and Tamarind into a fine paste
♦️Add oil to the kadai.Once oil gets heated add mustard seeds,Cumin seeds,Chana dal, Curry leaves and sauté well
♦️Now add the grinded ingredients and salt and cook till oil starts coming out on surface
♦️This Allam Chutney can be stored till one week and goes well with Idly,Pesarattu,Rice,Dosa
♦️Also you can have this Chutney when you are sick or not feeling well.It’s really comforting food
