I'm so tired I give up guys.
The big issue that support doesn't seem to understand is that well, obviously people aren't going to come back again later to comment when they notice that comments are disabled. So the whole 'bulk re-enable comments' idea is just pointless. I've already been trying to manually enable comments for multiple videos.
I also feel a little bad for youtube support. At this point I'm certain they've seen this shit over and over and they can't do a single thing about it except parrot the youtube policies like the moderators on lotus pro's discord server. They likely don't have any power in actually keeping comments enabled on my channel forever and making the 'not for kids' option actually do anything when you hit 'no it's not for kids'.
edit: whoops I forgot to censor my name properly in the video. oh well, whatever. at least my name is common *ugh*
-- template added description --
if comments are disabled, IT IS NOT BY ME. Youtube automatically disables comments on videos that they deem as 'harmful to minors'. This is so stupid, especially considering how all of my videos shouldn't even be for minors and neither is this platform. Why else give the youtuber an option to mark your video as 'for kids' or 'not for kids'?
If you really want to tell me something, go to my latest video with enabled comments and tell me there.
