A dilated Pore of Winer removal (sometimes confused for a blackhead removal) from a very old patient is accomplished on a big scale. This may not be the biggest, but it is one of the best we have filmed. Cutting the skin at the edges of the pore allows for removal if the entire contents of of the pore without leaving any behind. The cuts heal quickly and without scarring. The giant hollow area slowly closes up over time. They will rarely require minor surgical repair to completely eliminate the defect. Dilated Pore of Winer extraction is commonly performed in both Family Medicine and Dermatology. This procedure is also popular in the "Popping" community.
