The Pirates got ony their second win over the Cubs this season tonight. Justin Steele was terrible. He gave up 6 runs on eight hits. And the bullpen was just as bad, giving another 8 runs after Steele left the game. Steele just looks tired.
The Cubs offense attempted to keep the game close. Ian Happ hit a grand slam in the game. Christopher Morel also crushed a home run in the game. But it wasn't enough to get the victory. The Pirates added on in the 6th inning and Connor Joe homered to make the score 11-7.
Kap says it's unacceptable for them to lose to the Pirates at this stage in the season. They need to win as many games as they can this week.
