This recording is presented in two parts.

First, various scenes from The Pad in Ocean Drive, SC and The Landmark Resort, in Myrtle Beach, SC. This includes performance by The Plaids and I believe The Main Event.

Second, James Brown performs. Initially there is some confusion about this unplanned appearance. The Main Event was not able to back-up James Brown. As a result, an impromptu band was form from the event attendees. This band includes the following.

Craig Woolard – Alto Saxophone
Johnny Barker – Keyboards
Johnny Hopkins - Trumpet
Bobby Davis – Drums
Gerald Davis – Bass Guitar
Unknown – Guitar

Bobby Davis, the owner of a music store in Myrtle Beach, was unknown to everyone and thoroughly impressed the other band members and James Brown.
