VH1 asked us to submit a video of us covering the theme song to one of their new shows; this is what we came up with. The song is Panther Dash by The Go! Team. The original song's main lick is played by heavy, overdriven guitar that Scot tries to emulate with his Melodica.

I added a bit of flanger to the ukulele using my new battery-powered 5 watt amp with onboard effects, the VOX DA5. These amps are pretty cool, and you can get one for around $125. Great for street performers and the like.

I found a live video of the original band playing Panther Dash after we recorded this video and learned that there may be words that go with the song? Not sure. We thought it was an instrumental...
