Steaming Milk using the Lelit Anita
Turn machine on (using the switch labeled pump, turn upwards), wait until the machine is up to temperature.
Once the machine is at 140 degrees/142 degrees flick the switch next to it to the steam symbol.
Ensure steam want is not facing you. Twist the steam knob on full to clear out any extra hot water or steam, then turn off again.
Once milk is in the jug, place the jug under the steam wand one quarter of the way into the milk.
Turn the steam wand knob to full, tilt the milk jug slightly towards the coffee machine to get a good angle for the milk to swirl.
Drop milk jug slightly down from the steam want to let some air into your milk, make sure this is done before your milk temperature reaches 40 degrees.
Watching your milk make sure it is spinning around in the jug and looking silky and smooth.
Once your milk is at its desired temperature, turn the steam knob all the way to the right to turn off the steam.
Ensure you don’t drop the milk jug below the wand until the steam is completely off to prevent hot milk going everywhere.
Tap the milk jug on the bench firmly to pop any unwanted bubbles.
Pour and serve
If you are wanting to steam another jug of milk straight away you need to refill the boiler.
To do this you flick the same switch that has the steam symbol to the water drop symbol.
Leave it in this position until the temperature is back up to 140 to 142 degrees and repeat the process above from step 3.
