Pistol,Revolver,B.L.Enfield Mark I and II .476 calibre were official British military sidearms from 1880 to 1887.
Used in the British colonial wars of the time , among others the
" Mahdist War ( 1881-1899 )".
Also issued to the " North-West Mounted Police " in Canada from 1883 until 1911.
Chambered for the .476 Eley cardridge ( black powder only )
