Visiting the Blue Zone of Costa Rica was such an awesome vacation experience. The Nicoya Peninsula is considered to be the Blue Zone of Costa Rica and is home to some of the countries most beautiful beaches and towns. Would highly recommend!
We stayed in a small beach town called Samara. We were there during the rainy/down season and definitely felt like we missed out on some of the better restaurants, hikes, etc because of it. We love how lush and green the rainy season is but it can be quite unpredictable as far as weather and business. When we go back we will probably still come in these greener months but may visit one of the more populated towns like Tamarindo.
