Zenith produced a transistorized vinyl record stereo system called "Circle of Sound" due to the 360deg listening range of the speakers. The product is Zenith Y565 produced from 1965 to 1970. A new version was introduced 1970 to 1972 almost the same except the speakers were square in shape. Also, there was a version produced with an integrated transistor radio. This system was bought by my family in 1967-68 time frame. It retailed at $199.99 in 1968 (or about $1,083 in today's dollars assuming an average annual inflation rate of 3.24% .... this is the average over 103yrs of data)
