This includes how to teach families to serve in this vital liaison role.
In this 6-part video series, Dr. Deuter instructs mental health professionals in developing a concise curriculum for reeducating and preparing parents and families to support and monitor their children’s mental health. She also reviews the relevant stages of psychological development in lay terms as a tool for educating parents in normal developmental support, and helps professionals educate families on when to get help and what constitutes a mental health crisis.
