Kylie Schibli is a Master of Science: Neuroscience student at Carleton University. She is working with Professor Amedeo D'Angiulli's research team in the Neuroscience of imagination, Cognition and Emotion Research (NICER) lab.
They have teamed up with the Leading Note Foundation and their program OrKidstra which provides free musical lessons in a group setting to children whose families could otherwise not afford it.
What they want to see in their research is if being involved in this community can help children pay attention and control their impulses.
