Its not my type of content uploading videos like this. But since Alita Battle Angel movie came out in february, I became a fan of the series.

I saw the OVA and there was a scene that had this song. I liked it alot that it made me look for it and downloaded the ost album to get the song in HQ.

Then I bought the manga and after reading it for a while I saw this page with Gally/Alita playing the harmonica just before she meet Figure Four at the train (one of my favorite arcs from the manga btw). And after I saw this picture, the song played in my mind out of no where. And I got the idea of animating the picture and coloring it.

I started using photoshop to color the ilustration and then separate it in layers. After that I went to after effects to animate the hair, the ambient, the lights for about 30 seconds (it takes alot of time to render for my PC specs. And then if I didnt liked it I had to edit again and wait for the render again for ever). After the 30 second animation I duplicated the clip to fit in the song timing in Vegas Pro, added a couple of details and here it is.

Im not an expert in after effects... so please dont attack me by that side. I just felt to share my inspiration in this video with this good song.
