One of the best go-tos I have on Youtube, is picking any track from #LegendofZelda Ocarina of Time and just running with it. The game I've played so much and still find cool musical tracks I could rework into a progressive metal style.. I recently upgraded my 8 string guitar to this gorgeous Abasi Larada Legion 8 string and I figured I'd dig an old social-media (don't miss my music on IG or Twitter) demo and turn it into a full fledged cover! I figured it'd be fun to incorporate a little of my extra legato-heavy playing style for the main Deku Tree theme and then move into a more proggy jam for the "Inside the Tree" music! Speaking of that segment, I thought it might be nice to dip into the very obscure, hard-to-remember but very recognizable tracks! I used Integration by The Contortionist as inspiration, turning that odd selection of B major chord notes into its own riff!

Video-wise, since I've still just been working on the new studio and room here I haven't felt super comfortable with the overall presentation! Hopefully when life dials down you'll see some really clever segments, but nonetheless I figured most of you won't mind! This is green screen with Unreal Engine 5 largely, and I think you can definitely see a difference in the quality of backdrops, though it's still not exactly the Virtual Production dream I want to try and pull off next year. Besides that, please please be patient with the videos (Spider-Man is coming!), feel free to reach out for commissions as those are opened up, and enjoy!
