BUT IF YOU LOOKED AT A REPLAY...IT LOOKS LIKE MORE SLOVENE PLAYERS WERE HOLDING ON TO AMERICANS...THAN THE OTHER WAY AROUND...

BUT ITS A CALL THAT ULTIMATELY COULD MEAN A DIFFERENCE WHETHER THE AMERICANS MOVE ON TO THE SECOND ROUND OF THE WORLD CUP. FIFA--THE ORGANIZER OF THE WORLD CUP --DOESN'T REQUIRE OFFICIALS TO EXPLAIN THEIR DECISIONS.

WITH ENGLAND DRAWING AGAINST ALGERIA...TEAM USA WILL MOVE ON IF THEY BEAT ALGERIA IN THE LAST GROUP MATCH. THEY CAN ALSO MOVE ON WITH A DRAW IF ENGLAND TIES AS WELL...BUT THEY'LL HAVE TO HAVE THE EDGE ON GOALS SCORED TO BREAK A TIE IN THE OVERALL POINTS.
