Završena je izgradnja novoga velikoga veteranskog centra u Šibeniku vrijednog 68 milijuna kuna, Veteranski centar u imat će 142 postelje i moci će primiti oko 2500 korisnika na godinu. S radom bi trebao zapićeti u prvom kvartalu 2022. godine. Uz hrvatske branitelje i ratne vojne invalide i članovi njihovih obitelji te obitelji smrtno stradalog i nestalog hrvatskog branitelja, kao i civilne žrtve Domovinskog rata, usluge centara moći će koristiti i osobe stradali u mirovnim misijama te stradali pirotehničari i članovi njihovih obitelji.Uz postojeći Dom hrvatskih veterana u Lipiku, nove centre će uz Šibenik dobiti Daruvar, Sinj i Petrinja.
