Claypot Bean curd/ claypot tofu...onepot dish
Claypot tofu / Bean curd...Onepot dish
Packed with Tofu and vegetables
Ingredients
---------------‐
4 pieces tofu/ Bean curd cut into 4
1 cup oil + 2 tbsp
5 cloves garlic chopped
3 inches ginger sliced
8 pieces dry mushroom..washed and soaked
1 canned straw mushroom cut into 2
2 cup mixed carrot, peas, red and yellow capsicum
3 cup water or sufficient
Salt if needed ( if needed)
Dash of whitepepper powder ( if needed)
1/4 tsp sugar
2 tsp corn flour + 5 tbsp water
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp Julienne ginger
Prepare sauce (A)
---------------
Mushroom soaked water
3 tbsp mushroom sauce
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1/4 tsp whitepepper powder
*Mix it and set a side
Method
------------
*Heat up pan, add in a cup of oil. Fry the tofu and set a side
*Heat up claypot, add in 2 tbsp oil, Follow by garlic and ginger. Saute for a minute
*Add in carrot and both mushrooms and cook for a minute
*Add in prepared sauce (A), and 3 cup water. Cover and let them boil.
*Once boiled, add In peas, capsicums, fried tofu, salt, whitepepper powder and sugar. Mix it and let them boil. Now add in the corn solutions.
*Finally add in cabbage, sesame oil and Julienne ginger. Switch of the flame..
*If prefer spicy, add in chili
