In this video, we try to answer if 60hz is good enough for sim racing, or will a higher refresh monitor give you a much better experience? Just a quick added note if it wasn't clear from the video; to benefit from the higher refresh rate, your PC needs to be able to deliver an equivalent high frame rate to take advantage of this. For example, if your PC is only able to deliver 60 frames per second normally and you are using a 144hz monitor. Then the experience will be the same as using a 60hz monitor. Think of the monitor hz as the available bandwidth, and the frames per second is the data. The overall performance is only as good as the throughput of data being piped through. So with a 144hz monitor, you do want your PC to able to produce 144 frames per second.
