Today in tutorials for Davinci Resolve I show you how you can easily use a timer or timecode including milliseconds for your videos. Especially speedrunners that want to RTA time individual levels will get good use out of it.

The expression for your Text+
os.date("%M:%S",(time)/comp:GetPrefs("Comp.FrameFormat.Rate")).."."..string.format("%03d",(time)%comp:GetPrefs("Comp.FrameFormat.Rate")*1000/comp:GetPrefs("Comp.FrameFormat.Rate"))

If you want to use hours, minutes, seconds and miliseconds, use this expression:
os.date("!%T",(time)/comp:GetPrefs("Comp.FrameFormat.Rate")).."."..string.format("%03d",(time)%comp:GetPrefs("Comp.FrameFormat.Rate")*1000/comp:GetPrefs("Comp.FrameFormat.Rate"))

("!%T" is equal to "!%H:%M:%S" - the exclamation mark is needed to start the timer from hour 0)
