We invite you to discover Lugano - not only very picturesque city on the lake between mountains but also rich of history and architecture to explore. The city lies on Lake Lugano in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland and it is surrounded by the Lugano Prealps. We will take a walk from the railway station to the city center to take a promenade along the lake to explore Lugano architecture and beautiful landscapes.
We will explore "LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura" and "Grand Palace Lugano" - two remarkable buildings that interact with each other and the historical church creating a complex cluster with courtyards. We will also see the Congress Palace Lugano with its new murales and the park Ciani with its famous "Gate on Lake Lugano".
