How Long Does it Take to Become a #ForensicPsychologist ? A #forensic #psychologist is a psychologist who works in the court system. They are a court-appointed #expertwitness I am a court appointed expert for civil, criminal, family, CPS court and more. I am licensed in NV, CA and all 38 PSYPACT states. I am hired by government agencies, courts, the public defender's office, private attorneys, cooparations and individuals. For a court appointed psychological evaluation I charge $500 per hour and it requires a non refundable $5,000 retainer. If a private individual or agency wants to consult with me and they are not sure if they need a psychological report, they can consult with me and I will provide my verbal opinion and then they can decide if they want me to produce a report. This month a civil law firm appointed me on three cases with a plan to assign me 10 more childhood sexual abuse cases for a civil law suit. It takes a long time to become a forensic psychologist because it is an extremely important position that can have a tremendous impact on people's lives.
