The first class of future podiatrists to begin training in Texas made history on Friday, Oct. 28, when they received the symbolic white coats signifying the start of their medical education journey.
The UTRGV School of Podiatric Medicine, the first in Texas and one of only nine in the country, celebrated 27 students during a White Coat ceremony in Harlingen.
