This week we look at a beautiful landscape painting by Pietro da Cortona, depicting the 'Calling of St. Peter and St. Andrew' currently exhibited at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. This is a rare example of a landscape painting by the Baroque artist, more commonly celebrated for his stunning fresco ceilings at the Barberini and Pitti palaces and it forms part of a major commission of frescoes depicting the life of Christ. We hope you enjoy this week's video.
