This video has been the hardest but most rewarding project yet. The Common Skate is the largest non- migratory fish living in UK waters and from my experience is fairly unknown to the general public. I hadn't known about this fish until recently but as soon as I discovered there were fish which could weigh more than me - I had to catch one. This video only scratches the surface of the planning, effort and time it took to land this spectacular fish.

The weight of the skate was estimated to be a whopping 161lbs (73kg) from the measurement we took!!!
