This is a great drill using the Dr. Dish CT that simulates a zone offense focusing on getting players to their spots and knocking down shots.
There will be three lines simulating guard positions: top of the key, and free throw line extended at the three point line.
The first pass is to the player at the top of the key from the Dr. Dish CT. The player then passes the ball to the right side wing player. As the right side receives the pass, the opposite wing player will immediately sprint in for the flash in the middle of the lane, and catch the pass from the right wing player. Then the player in the lane will look opposite as the player at the top of the key floats out to the left wing to receive a pass from the player in the middle and shoot.
Finally to finish out the drill as the player on the left wing side shoots, the player on the right moves to the top of the key to receive a pass and shoot. Players will then rotate and repeat the same steps.
Remember: Train like you would play in a game, and make decisions like you would in a game! Train hard, train smart, and with a purpose!
