In a moving tribute to her late husband, King Constantine II of Greece, Queen Anne-Marie led mourners at his funeral in Athens on Monday. Surrounded by her children and extended family, including her sister Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, the former queen paid homage to Constantine in subtle yet poignant ways. Anne-Marie wore the same diamond cross pendant she donned on their wedding day 58 years prior and laid a wreath made of white lilies of the valley, the same flower she chose for her bridal bouquet. The funeral was attended by many European royals, including King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain, who mourned the loss of their family member.
