Here's why, archaeologists are too scared to open the tomb of China's first emperor despite discovering this site almost 40 years ago and exploring the majority of it, no one has seen inside the actual tomb for over two thousand years since the emperor was first sealed inside. Now, the fears to open this Tomb come from the writings of an ancient Chinese historian who wrote that the tomb is hooked up to a number of booby traps that were designed to kill anyone who tries to enter, not only with the Craftsman order to make crossbows and arrows primed to shoot any Intruders but even if these fail, archaeologists say that there's another and even more dangerous threat. When the tomb is constructed, they use huge amounts of mercury, which is highly toxic, to simulate entire rivers and set them to flow mechanically. So, due to these concerns, what Mysteries lie inside this tomb remain to be sealed and unseen.
