In what turned out to be the first formal meeting between the Congress brass and the Delhi chief minister, AAP founder Arvind Kejriwal met Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge & Rahul Gandhi and made a strong case for an alliance for the Lok Sabha elections. Kejriwal is learnt to have said that the 2024 elections would be about saving India’s democracy, and they could turn out to be the last elections to be held in the country if the opposition did not join hands to fight BJP.
