Alright, it's time for another Touhou flash game! This time, it's Marippy!

And that's the one I'm playing in this video.
This game is based off of the game Mappy. The object of this game is guide Marisa through eight stages, collecting all of her belongings while avoiding Alice and her dolls. The gameplay itself is entirely keyboard-controlled (although the mouse works on the title screen choices). Use the left and right arrow keys to move, and press Z to open or close doors.
Now, there are trampolines scattered about each stage, and they're the only way to change floors, and are also a great way to evade enemies, since they can't hurt you while you're in midair. When you bounce off of one, you'll continue ascending until you hit a ceiling and fall back down to the trampoline. Press left or right as you're ascending to get off at a particular floor, but make sure you line it up right, or you may hit the side of a ledge and fall back down. Also, make sure you don't stay on a trampoline for too long. If you bounce on the same trampoline more than three times in a row, it'll break and you'll go plummeting downwards, which will kill you unless there happens to be another trampoline directly below, in which case you'll be okay.
There are also doors scattered about. You can open and close them, and they'll swing open in the direction that the knob is on and will release a star that way, which will briefly stun any enemies it hits (you can safely walk past a stunned enemy, but be quick). Closed doors can be used to ward off foes, but just know that they can also open them, but only from the side that the knob is not on. Some doors also have spell circles on them, which cannot be opened at all by the enemies while the spell circle is there. If you open such a door, you'll unleash a Master Spark in the direction that the knob is on, wiping out any enemies caught in its blast! Then, that door will just be a normal door afterwards, and any Master Sparked foes will respawn in the top-center of the stage after a moment.
Occasionally, Alice will stop to briefly "hug" an item she walks by. If you grab that item right then, you'll get bonus points and stun Alice for a moment. Only try for this if you happen to be right there, though, because she'll only "hug" the item for a couple seconds! (Interestingly, Alice is immune to Master Sparks while "hugging" an item, so wait a moment before unleashing one if you want to catch her in the blast.)
You start with three lives, and you lose a life whenever Alice or one of her dolls collides with you while you're both on solid ground (you're safe from them while bouncing on a trampoline), if you fall at least one floor and don't land on a trampoline, if you fall off the bottom of the screen, or if time runs out. You gain an extra life when you reach 20,000 and 50,000 points (maybe also at 100,000, but I don't know). If you lose all of your lives, the Game Over screen appears, where Alice has captured Marisa, and... uhh...
Grab all ten of Marisa's belongings in a stage to clear that stage. Clear all eight stages to complete the game, and view the ending where Marisa kicks Alice's butt! However, later stages are more complex, have more and faster enemies, and give you shorter time limits, so it can definitely be tricky!
Scoring points:
Each of Marisa's belongings has a base value:
Medicine: 100, Book: 200, Broom: 300, Hat: 400, Undies (!): 500.
Each stage has two of each of these. If you grab both of the same item in a row, you'll get multiplied points for the second. The first time you do that in a stage, you'll get x2 points for the second item in the pair, then each additional time in the same stage will get you x3, x4, x5, and then x6!
Other ways to score points:
Each enemy stunned by a star from opening a door: 50
Hitting enemies with a Master Spark: 200, 400, 600, etc. (Each additional foe you hit with the same Master Spark is worth 200 more than the last.)
Collecting an item while Alice is "hugging" it: 1000
Each timer second remaining upon clearing a stage:
Stages 1 and 2: 10
Stages 3 and 4: 20
Stages 5 and 6: 30
Stage 7: 40
Stage 8: 50
Note: While this game can be started on the Wii's internet browser, without any way to control Marisa, it's pointless.
