Most SaaS companies have different markets they sell into and oftentimes it’s categorized into enterprise, corporate, and SMB (small/medium business). I spent the first two years of my software sales career as a sales development representative. During that time I worked with many different business units including enterprise software sales.
Let me start of by talking about what an SDR actually does, then we can breakdown Difference between enterprise SDR and normal SDR. First and foremost the term SDR is interchangeable with BDR/business development representative.
The purpose of SDRs is to cold call, send prospecting emails, and generate pipeline.
