► Story
Slughorn invited the best students in potions to his dinner party. Dumbledore thinks it’s the perfect time to celebrate Snape and Slughorn’s new positions. He forces Snape to go with him knowing very well that Snape hates parties. In fact, Dumbledore bought some expensive liquor and wanted Snape to offer it to Slughorn as a gift. Snape carries the bottle desperately haha They arrive in the middle of the fest. To Hermione’s surprise, who didn’t expect to see her defence against the Dark arts teacher tonight. Snape notices Hermione too which makes him forget why he came. The silence in the room is slightly embarrassing. Hermione tells Harry that Snape looks different compared to the previous years. The alcohol she drank combined to her teacher proximity makes her hormones go haywire. She slides her hand under the table and grabs Snape’s cloak. The stroke makes him jump a little. He confusedly stares at Hermione for a good while. Nobody seems to have noticed except Harry and Dumbledore. Slughorn and the other students wonder why Snape acts so awkwardly and hasn’t said a single word since he entered the room. Hermione burst out laughing which makes Slughorn laughs as well because well he’s drunk too lol Dumbledore cannot comprehend what he just witnessed. Poor Snape is going through all sort of emotions tonight.
