Two sisters claim to have seen an apparition of the Virgin Mary at a shrine in Grantstown, Wellington Bridge in County Wexford.
Sisters Sally-Ann and Judy Considine say that the apparition occurred twice and that there will be another apparition in early September. There is now a steady stream of worshipers to the shrine.
The Considine sisters are back home in Cork and not speaking to the media. They are expected to return to the shrine on 4 September for the third apparition.
Local priest Father Thomas Butler is keeping his distance from these events and any of the apparition reports.
I’d like to let it prove itself in time, to see if it’s true. If it is authentic, it will prove itself.
