Darth Vader tries to fool Sabe, Anakin Skywalker is dead. But Sabe was Padme’s greatest shadow, she knew what Padme knew, Anakin vanished and Darth Vader emerged. Anakin always spoke of order, he was obsessed with it. He was so devoted he almost tore open her casket to find out how she died. He had every opportunity to kill Sabe but he never did. She had been to Polis Massa and heard the Queen's final words. There was still good in him.

Vader ignited his lightsaber in a panic. What did Sabe want? Her and Padme were always haunted by their failure to free Shmi SKywalker from slavery. So she returned to Tatooine to free as many slaves as they could. Now they were in danger once again. Threatened by a corrupt Governor using Crimson Dawn connections. If he helped her, he would prove Padme was right.

Anakin couldn’t resist one final call to action by the Queen. Ochi watched as Vader departed the planet and in frustration, he takes off in a TIE fighter. Determined to win back his old job. Vader wanted to see the colony first, to prove Sabe was telling the truth. Vader and Sabe were greeted by her contacts, the group had no interstellar ships and their signals were jammed. All they had was a podracer built from spare parts. That’s when Vader realized that her contacts were Kitster and Wald. Anakin Skywalker’s childhood friends.
