ARE YOU MAKING THIS MISTAKE WHEN YOU TRY TO STRETCH YOUR PEC?
🔥In this video, coach Kiefer identifies a common flaw we see when people try to stretch their pecs and an easy fix to improve it.
🔥Often, we see people grab onto a wall or a rig and crank their arm behind them in order to try and feel a stretch in their pec. While you might feel a stretch there, the chances are you’re also putting a lot of stress on the structures at the front of your shoulder and while that might feel good in the moment, it could be causing more harm than good.
🔥A quick fix that we like to implement is using a bent arm so you have a bit of a shorter level, slightly packing the shoulder to keep the head of your humerus from gliding forward, and gently leaning your chest forward to get the desired stretch in the pec.
