Chord drones are a great way to get used to chord tone soloing in B major & modal practice.

Examples:
If you want to play in B major, just play the B major scale over this B major drone.
B Lydian, play the F# major scale over this B major drone.
B Mixolydian, play the E major scale over this B major drone.

For the chord tones, just target the root, major 3rd & perfect 5th intervals of the B major chord, let me know If this helps!
