What to Do If Someone Keeps Violating Your Boundaries / What do you say if someone continually violates your boundaries? You can hold your boundaries in a number of ways, but ultimately, it’s crucial to follow these three rules: 1) Be clear and direct (practice ahead of time – it really helps!). 2) Be concise. You don’t need to explain yourself to anyone. 3)Lastly, don’t be afraid of silence (and I don’t mean give the silent treatment – that’s passive aggressive!). State your boundary and move on. You don’t need to keep talking or trying to convince someone to follow your boundaries.
