Happy Make it Monday. Today is another exciting DIY for anyone who is experiencing muscle or joint pain and suffering from sleepless nights. In this video I will show you how to make Magnesium body lotion sticks that includes beneficial ingredients such as:
Mango Butter- 5 Tblsp
Cocoa Butter - 2 Tblsp
Jojoba Oil - 6 Tblsp
Coconut Oil- 3 Tblsp
Carnuba Wax- 2 Tblsp
Magnesium Oil- 1 Tblsp
Lavender Essential Oil- .5 Tblsp
Add all ingredients, except magnesium oil and essential oil, to a double boiler method and meltdown for 5-10 minutes.
Once all items are melted, add magnesium oil and essential oils and stir well until everything is completely combined.
Let cool for 5 minutes and then pour into containers (don't pour right away, because if too hot it will melt the containers or leak through the bottom, trust me I learned this the hard way).
Let sit overnight and then enjoy your lotion stick bars.
You will also require 2 oz deodorant twist-up containers and 2 oz metal tins as this recipe makes 2 of each.

For sleep issues, you can apply magnesium to the skin on either the bottom of your feet or your stomach for the most effective results.
Always perform a patch test before applying magnesium to your skin as you may experience a tingling or stinging sensation. Although these are mild effects, it's always best to place a small amount to check for any allergic reactions.
