Overseas Korean community leaders are set to meet in Seoul next month.
The Overseas Koreans Foundation said on Tuesday that it will host the 2015 World Korean Community Leaders' Convention between October 5 and 8 in Seoul.
Around 370 people including Korean community leaders from 80 foreign countries will participate in the convention and discuss pending issues on overseas Korean communities.
As this year marks the 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation from Japanese colonialists, participants will also share opinions on sustaining peace on the divided Korean Peninsula, according to the Foundation.
It added that the upcoming convention is expected to shed new light on the role and value of more than 7 million overseas Koreans.
