Square-Wave Generator NS047 Square-wave generator is one of the few electronic devices which help to adjust properly various household appliances such as audio-frequency amplifiers. A required adjustment of a complete range of features is often impossible without the necessary electronic measuring instruments. This generator model forms square waves with the frequency of 250 - 16 000 Hz. Generator power is supplied from any source with voltage of 5 to 15 V; a maximum current consumption is about 50 mA. The generator is based on a microcircuit with a tunable oscillating frequency with a square output signal... Output signal amplitude determined by supply voltage is 5 to 15 V... Trimmer resistors are responsible for frequency tuning and output level. The design includes a high-frequency BNC connector which is also mounted on the board and a compact terminal block for connecting generator to power supply. The generator is assembled on a compact printed-circuit board. It can be easily installed into any small-size frame.
