This is a robot. It works at Cedars-Sinai along with 27 other robots. Each robot weighs about 1,000 lbs and can carry up to 600 lbs. These robots are smart. They use laser guided navigation to deliver critical supplies to specific areas of the hospital. Pretty cool. huh? The robots move through secret hallways between the floors to safely navigate through Cedars-Sinai. There's an "Emergency Stop" button, flashing alarm, turn signals, and front and rear motion sensors. They even talk! This is the robots' good friend, Robert. He helps the robots daily. The robots work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but Robert gets to go home. The robots transfer medical waste, hospital linens, medical supplies, and take out trash. They have their own elevators. You'll never see them, but these robots do their part to care for you.
