Our new Principal Viola Stefanie Farrands gives a moving performance of Vieuxtemps’ Capriccio ‘Hommage à Paganini’ from the intimacy of her home.

Stefanie says of the work, “It’s a piece that always draws me inwards and takes me to a place of great comfort. It shows the deep beauty and depth of colour of the viola, and when I play it I find that time seems to stop still for a moment.”
