Product Info: If you're going to bust ghosts, you obviously need the right wheels, and here they are in the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 from Playmobil. Based on the car from the original 1984 movie, it's a combination hearse and ambulance built on a 1959 Cadillac. The distinctive look of the original has been captured in this model, complete with lights and sounds, which come in handy when you're heading to a haunting. The top comes off so kids can play with the interior, including outfitting the figures with their proton packs, the essential specter neutralizing tool. Speaking of figures, the set comes with ghostbuster Winston Zeddemore and secretary and sometimes ghostbuster Janine Melnitz. There's also some liquified ghost matter for inevitably messy outcomes of spirited confrontations. This is a very nicely detailed and freewheeling replica. Like all Playmobil toys, the model is very high quality and for fans of ghostbusters, it should inspire a lot of creative play. Collectors and adult fans will appreciate the detailing, too.
