So the dimplex opti myst is one of the most innovative and successful electric fireplaces on the market today. There has always been one problem with it though. The issue is, all the current Opti-myst offerings are all linear, or rectangle shape. Which lends itself to a more modern and contemporary finish. The issue with that is, although people love the opti myst technology, the linear or more modern style is simply too contemporary for their install application. Thats where the new Faber E-Matrix comes in. Its a super stylish, clean face design in a square box. Now the beauty of it being squared. Is now we have a 100% traditional style fireplace. That not only looks traditional, but being the more square shape, it certainly lends itself to looking more realistic just because of the shape alone. Now there are a few improvements as well to make sure this still looks good even though its in a taller firebox. For one with the firebox being taller the flame needs to be taller as well in order to fill up the box. So what Dimplex has done is put a fan in the top of the fireplace and what that fan does is pulls air upwards and it actually makes the flame climb higher which is awesome cause in these tall boxes you need the flame to fill the box. Also the unit comes in four different configurations. The one we have displayed is the 3 sided with both ends open. You can order it with just one side open, either the right or the left. Or you can just simply order it as a flat front unit. All and all this unit is an absolute home run and I can’t wait to see the success it has.
