Medical animation created by KO Studios, commissioned by Rapp Collins Worldwide for Singulair, an asthma drug distributed by Merck & Co., Inc. Animation shows how asthma, a chronic condition, can cause airways in lung to swell, and be blocked by mucous exuded in bronchioles and alveoli in reaction to stimulants such as pet dander, cold air, smoking, exercise, mold, etc. Blocked and narrowed airways reduce oxygen intake, making breathing difficult. Singulair helps reduce swelling and reactions to allergens that cause asthma.
