In this video, my husband, Joe, joins me to tell the story of our oldest son, Lee's, stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit due to Meconium Aspiration Syndrome. We are fortunate it was only five days, but those five days would forever have an impact on us. We are happy to be able to tell this story knowing we have a happy and healthy 3 1/2 year old boy along with another happy and healthy 10-month old boy. We hope this helps other parents who have experienced the NICU or other trauma and feel inspired to share their story, whether that be to themselves in a journal, to family and friends, or in a blog or video like this.
